Credible Home Inspections completes various types of residential inspections for national clients including banks, mortgage companies and other vested entities. Our inspections vary by request, and range from occupancy verification, leaving door cards, interior condition inspections and insurance repair verifications.

You will be taking pictures of homes to verify occupancy for banks. Sometimes exterior only photos, sometimes you will leave a door hanger which we provide. Other times you will be asked to attempt to make contact. We also complete quick interior inspections on vacant homes. This service is vital in protecting local community blight as well as providing our client with the information they need to protect their assets.

THE BASICS

  • THIS IS CONTRACT WORK –YOU WILL RECEIVE A 1099 AT THE END OF THE YEAR.  YOU MUST HAVE YOUR OWN TOOLS, RELIABLE VEHICLE AND MUST BE ABLE TO MANAGE YOUR TIME AND WORKLOAD – YOU ARE YOUR OWN BOSS!
  • MUST BE ABLE TO PROFICIENTLY USE GPS, ROUTING PROGRAMS AND VARIOUS APPS, EMAIL AND SOFTWARE SYSTEMS
  • MUST HAVE EXISTING OR PROVIDE NEW CLEAR ASPENGROVE BACKGROUND CHECK – WE CAN ASSIST WITH THIS IF YOU DO NOT CURRENTLY HAVE – COST IS $65.00
  • NO LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
  • ALL WORK COMPLETED VIA CELLPHONE- IPHONE PREFERRED/ANDROID ACCEPTABLE
  • Required tools include a volt stick and a set of HUD keys – both available in our online store if you do not have already.

REQUIREMENTS

Orders must be completed by due dates- typically within 3-7 days. You can complete orders up to 7 days in advance.

Photograph residential properties via smartphone app and complete short form in app.

Inspect and report the condition and occupancy status of each property per individual inspection instructions. Some inspections will require a door-posting to be left behind.

Average time to complete a standard field inspection is 2-6 minutes with experience. Vacant interiors typically take up to 10 minutes. Insurance loss drafts typically take 15-20 minutes each, but will make up only a small percentage of your orders.

Average Daily workflow consists of:

  • Review orders due within 7 days/choose desired amount of orders to complete that day.
  • Enter orders into routing app which will efficiently organize your order stops into the quickest route (Roadwarrior® account available at a discount through Credible Home Inspections).
  • Transmit completed orders by midnight via cellular connection or wifi.
